Only 2 holiday sessions left! I'm taking a small break away from maternity leave at the beginning of November to do special holiday sessions, so you can get your holiday portraits and cards. I have a great array of custom cards this year that I'm really excited about. Here's an example of one that I particularily like.
Available sessions are 1:00pm on both November 11th and 12th. These have filled up fast, so book now!

I just started proofing this session, but I love this picture. I love her nails, I love her belly, I love her outfit, I love that she can still wear her rings, lol.

No baby yet, for those of you asking. I'm starting to wonder if this is an "if" not "when" kind of situation. In the meantime, it's fun proofing a maternity session if only to know I'm not the only pregnant woman left in the world!

Was it just two weeks ago when being bareoot and swinging was the most we had to do?
Where did summer go?

Travis is Calgary's Child! His first cover, and mine too. This little guy is a total sweetheart, how many 3 year olds do you know that say ma'am and sir? I'm proud to have taken a photo of such a cute little guy that ended up being on the cover of a magazine.
The September/October issue of Calgary's Child magazine is available at a number of places, including Toys R Us, City of Calgary pools, and Sobey's, if you'd like to check it out. It's a great resource if you've got kids.

Ahhhh, another from the same session. I couldn't resist this one for some reason!

Lake Bonavista is a beautiful place, especially at sunset. I had the pleasure of photographing a gorgeous mother/son combo at the lake a few weeks ago. It was a fun and relaxed session, with a truly lovely setting.

Ahhhhhh! A little girl! They do exist!
This little charmer was not only a happy baby, but she's gorgeous too!
No surprise there, her parents had the most polished style.
Good genes and a gorgeous home, I can't ask for anything more than that!

Where are the girls?
Out of all of my newborn sessions recently, not a single girl has been born!
I'm assuming that means that my own surprise baby will end up being a girl.
This little man here was happiest on his back in a laundry basket, I'll have to remember that tip when my new one arrives!

The parents of this newborn session were so fun to take photos of. They had a nice relaxed attitude, and really made things quite smooth. They mentioned how much the dad looked like the new little man, but I never noticed until I got to this picture!
They are a gorgeous family, and I wish them all the best!

If you are interested in getting fall family portraits done, your session must be before this date, or alternatively, you can book for November. It's been a busy week, two new sessions and I'm still proofing my photos from Houston!
I've also been researching new options for holiday cards and birth announcements, hopefully I can do a preview of some new cards this week.
